When i was little i remeber watching a movie about ppl who were really aliens and they were living like humans waiting for other aliens to come get them there was a little girl who was one too but did not know it until her she was told when aliens were comeing to get them and i think it had something to do with a church eother it was were the aliens were going to come get them at or they were using it as their own. I think it could be from 1970"s to mid 1980"s

I'm trying to find a movie i seen when i was little. It was made in the late 70s or early 80s. it was about some kids who rode around on rollerblades and were accompanied by a floating, white glowing orb. it was so long ago that i don't remember much else.

I think I may be looking for the same or a similar movie as this. What I remember is a crane in a lake or pond that children find, but the crane is akin to a lake monster. I think it comes alive and is the monster in the film. When I looked up the titles 'The Quest' and the Frog one given, they didn't seem to be the same. Any ideas?

» musicman54494 - I've been looking along time.

When I was a teenager, I saw a old black and white movie. I guess you could say it got me into that genre. I've tried for a decade now to trie and find the title. Here's the description. Like I said B&W. Old gangster type. Almost Hitchcockish.

A drifter is walking up the road. At the same time it shows a radio in a cafe with an announcement saying that a thug had escaped and was headed in that general area. The drifter goes into the cafe. The other patrons in the cafe decide he's the thug and come up with a plan to convince him he would be better off dead. The film progresses until finally the real thug and his gang show up. By then the stranger is fully convinced it is his time to die and takes on the thugs.

I remember the film was set in a desert type of setting. The diner/cafe seemed to be the only building on the dirt road. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Know any other good B&W films. Let me know.

It sounds like "The Petrified Forest" with Leslie Howard, Bette Davis, and Humphrey Bogart. It was made about 1936. Howard and Bogart also starred in the Broadway play that the movie was based on.

Hi All,
Mmy friend and I are trying to remember the name of a we saw 5-10 years ago. What we have come up with so far is that the movie revolves around this girl that works in a family run diner, She wears very red lipstick, and talks about ol' blue eyes (frank sinatra). I think that the movie starts off in black and white. This is about all we have.

If any one can help that would be great.
